Lia Strell is a Southern California sculptor designer. Her style is alluring.

To appreciate Lia's art is to understand the artist. Her work has been evolving since the introduction to oil painting at age six.

She was painting before she could sign her name properly. By age twelve, Lia knew she was going to be an artist. Her University years were spent exploring art through glass and clay.

In the early 1990's Lia was fascinated with marble and sculpted in Italy. She created a marble series that is valued and cherished. Lia’s work is now in the metals, Copper, Aluminum, Bronze, Gold, & Silver. She also spends time at her computer developing new ideas to share.

Xpressions of Energy

Inspired by natural movement and light, Lia’s symbols represent everyday moods, feelings and ideas. Her intention is to take these ideas and create simplified symbols of energy.

Swirls of Significance

Lia’s work is at the center of both Science and Art. She interprets metaphysics visually in a new sculptural way. She imagines a specific energy while creating. She then channels the energy into the piece.
